adidas & Mark Gonzales

UK retailer Flatspot has recently taken delivery of this adidas Immotile silhouette as part of the Mark Gonzales adidas Skateboarding signature series. The Immotile Gonz is actually based on a performance cycling shoe from the 1970s, and this latest incarnation has been redesigned for skateboarding while maintaining the integrity of the original shoe.

Kicks Japan

We were in our favourite bookshop Magma yesterday, and while we were there we spotted this new publication from Mark Batty Publisher. Entitled Kicks Japan, the book documents Japanese sneaker culture and features a slew of interesting artists, designers, musicians, store owners, skaters, DJs and collectors...

Nike SB Archive

Sneaker archive websites seem to be popping up all the time lately, but this one from Nike SB really caught our eye. When we were researching the Art & Sole book back in 2007, it was an uphill struggle trying to find images and information on previous sneaker releases, so we were seriously impressed with this new site from Nike which has archived every single shoe released through the SB brand since its launch in 2002.
