All Day I Dream About Sneakers
We recently rediscovered this adidas project by Melbourne based creatives Dimitri Kalagas and Chris Cork. Created in 2009, All Day I Dream About Sneakers was a global branding project created for adidas Originals and inspired by their brand creeds ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ and ‘Celebrate Originality’.
Conceived, designed and directed by Kalagas and Cork, the concept was to bring to life the world's most 'original' range of sneakers in the form of sculpted models. The results include a sneaker with an in-built anti-theft system, a robotic sneaker that can clean itself and tie its own laces, and an organic sneaker that can grow from a seed.
The full campaign extended into in-store posters, visual merchandising displays and a limited edition book (cover shown bottom).
