A Few of My Favourite Sneakers: Handsome Frank

The time has finally arrived for the third installment of our 'A Few of My Favourite Sneakers' series, and this time we asked our friends at illustration agency Handsome Frank to draw their favourite sneakers especially for Art & Sole...

Named after the Grandfather of the two agency founders, Handsome Frank represent some extremely talented commercial illustrators - commissioning work for the advertising, editorial, publishing, retail and music industries. As with the previous 'A Few of My Favourite Sneakers', Handsome Frank asked a selection of their artists to draw their favourite sneakers and the results, shown below, are a great mix of graphic, illustrative and abstract imagery. In order of appearance, the artists and respective sneakers shown are:

Nike Huarache Light by Tony Easley
Nike Cortez by Stephen Cheetham
Adidas Superstar 2 by Tim McDonagh
Converse Low Rise by Becca Thorne
Shoes by Dale Bowers
(again, the obligatory pair of random shoes - see first two posts here and here)
Reebok Pump by Emma Kelly
Royal Elastics Icon by Andrew Joyce (he's also produced an animated GIF)
Vans Authentic by Jeffrey Bowman

As usual, we hope you enjoy all the work shown, and thanks to Jon, Tom and the talented artists at Handsome Frank for all their hard work.
Keep watching Art & Sole for the next installation of A Few of My Favourite Sneakers...
