Art & Street Sole: Our New Monthly Instagram Competition

It's been a good few months since we posted our first Art & Street Sole story, but in that time we've been planning a slightly new take on the original concept. We've now decided to ask YOU to show us your best artist/designer sneaker collaborations actually 'on-foot' - for a chance to win a monthly prize and have your image(s) featured here on the A&S website...

The Art & Street Sole competition launches today and will be run through Instagram. We're looking for the best and most creative 'on-foot' shots of artist/designer collaborations or art/design-related sneakers and, to enter, all you have to do is label your images with the #artandstreetsole hashtag. The contest will run on a monthly basis, with a prize being awarded to our favourite shot at the end of each month. We'll also post a selection of our favourite images here on the blog, with a photographers credit of course. To give you some initial inspiration, we've shown a selection of on-foot artist/designer collaboration sneaker images below - so why don't you show us what you can do...

This month's prize is an author-signed copy of the Art & Sole book (mini edition), as well as an artists proof of our latest A&S screenprint - Never Knot by Darcel Disappoints.

The launch edition of the Art & Street Sole Instagram competition runs from 2-30 June 2014. To enter, photograph your favourite artist/designer sneaker collaboration 'on-foot' and then upload to Instagram using the #artandstreetsole hashtag.

Photography by James Measom. In order of appearance, the artists/designer collaborations shown here include the Parra & Nike Air Max 1 (Cherrywood), the Kaws & Nike Air Max 90, the Tom Sachs & Nike Mars Yard Shoe, the Staple & New Balance 577, the Dave White & Nike Air Max 1, The Mark Smith & Nike Air Force 1 (Lazer Project), the Staple & Puma Suede, the Stash & Nike Air Max BW and the Ben Drury & Nike Air Max 90 (Tongue n' Cheek)
